What we do

We make Storyworlds, animated films, music, art, and cool technology. We see Storyworlds as an ultimate creative space where many forms of human creativity and imagination can combine with an array of advanced technologies, including Synthetic Beings (SynthBees™ ) and Xverses.

We also maintain the 500 year Expeditionary Trade License with the Hour Blue World.

Status

Sun and Thunder is in an early phase of incubating creative experiments, testing, exploration, and play (we call this SNT™ Supernova). We will be releasing cool bits along the way (in a variety of mediums and forms).

History & Inspiration

The modern incarnation of Sun and Thunder™ was reborn in the fall of 2020. The original Sun and Thunder Exploration Company Limited was believed to have been formed in the late 1400s by a collective of artists, scientist, inventors, explorers, poets, engineers, musicians, vagabonds, philosophers, and writers.

In the mid 1700s an expedition launched by the Sun and Thunder Exploration Company Limited discovered East Island during the L'Heure Bleue of the day, a strange apparition that appeared off the coast of New Zealand. A team of forty (known as the “Forty First” entered the southern Portail Océanique and only three returned (“The Lucky Three”).

The Lucky Three discovered many wonders and made contact with a strange and vibrant world. The Sun and Thunder Exploration Company Limited claimed and authorized a 500 year exclusive license to trade with this world, which began a rich and illustrious period in the life of the Company.
